Maybe He Had Term Exams?
HAWTHORNE — It’s not unusual for college students to be creative when lying about an absence during term exams.
Saquah Russell, 27, however, may have not understood that one lies about missing terms — not uses term exams as a reason to lie about about a possible reason to have missed court dates.
The self-professed student, a resident of San Pedro, CA, was apprehended by Hawthorne police on Tuesday, November 12 around 5:30 p.m. he was picked up just outside his home, oddly enough, and was booked for as a “witness” who “failed to appear” as charged by the Hawthorne PD and also a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department charge of “failing to appear.” The cumulative bail was set at $30,561.00, with the $30k portion being attributed to the Hawthorne police.
Attempts to reach Russell for comments on the case to which he was a witness and failed to appear were unsuccessful; we wish we could state that he didn’t appear, but…
