BAKERSFIELD — The owner of a local recycling center was arrested on Thursday morning for allegedly violating state and local laws regarding the recycling of non-ferrous metals.
Kyu Bo Song, the owner of Truxtun Recycling, was arrested on various charges of violating several Business and Professions Codes and booked into the Kern County Sheriff’s Office Central Receiving Facility in Bakersfield.
According to the sheriff’s office, detectives from the Rural Crime Investigation Unit conducted an enforcement operation at Truxtun Recycling located at 407 East 18th Street in Bakersfield on Dec. 5, to ensure that the faciltiy complying with state and local laws regarding the recycling of non-ferrous metals.
