Two suspects who allegedly shoplifted over $700 worth of groceries from a San Ramon Safeway undetected were pulled over for expired plates a few hours later on Nov. 27, police say.
The two men in a vehicle with expired tags were pulled over by San Ramon Police in front of Crown Billiards sometime before 8 p.m. that Wednesday evening.
The suspects fled the vehicle, which police found contained over $700 in stolen “shampoo and alcohol” from Safeway.
