SAN LUIS OBISPO – According to San Luis Obispo Police, they were notified by the Fresno police that two suspects forced two juvenile females, ages 15 and 17, to come to the San Luis Obispo area. They then coerced the juveniles into illegal drug use and prostitution.
SLOPD says the investigation began in late October when they learned one of the minor females escaped to a central valley California town.
Unfortunately, the other was still being held captive. Police believed she was at a local motel. Once they found her there, she was taken into police protective custody.
Police did not find the suspects at the motel.
The two suspects are Javier Solis, 28, of Fresno and Michael Andrade, 33, also of Fresno, were finally caught last Tuesday in Fresno.
The two suspects allegedly used force and fear tactics to keep the minors engaging in acts of prostitution.
Police say the suspects used the money for drugs and other illegal activities.
