A Lake Forest man will stand trial Wednesday in connection with the 2009 bludgeoning-murder of a Laguna Beach man inside his apartment, the Orange County district attorney’s office reported.
Matthew Thomas Dragna, 23, faces one felony count of special circumstances murder during the commission of a robbery. If convicted Dragna faces a maximum sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole. Opening statements are slated to begin Wednesday at the Central Justice Center in Santa Ana.
