INGLEWOOD — Rape is no joke.
Ricard Figueroa, 36, was arrested by Inglewood police for a number of charges apparently relating to a seemingly single incident. The logistics employee did not disclose his employer, but he was slapped with a number of serious charges: “261(A)(4)PC Rape-Victim Unconscious Or Nature of Act…,” “A422(A)PC Terrorize Causing Fear,” “243(E)(1)PC BATTERY Ex-spouse/Fiance/Person w dating” and “262(A)(3)PC Spousal Rape Victim Unconscious.”
Except for the battery charge, all are felonies.
He was picked up around 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 11.
The Los Angeles resident was picked up from unit #517 of the Airport Park View Hotel on 3900 W. Century Boulevard in Inglewood. According to a number of recent police-involved incidents, the residential hotel is frequently the site of shootings, drug dealing, rape, robbery, and assault.
The collective bail was set at $270,000.
Inglewood police would not comment when asked if Figueroa was a regular visitor to the Airport Park View Hotel.
