Officers from the Rocklin Police Department recently made three separate drug-related arrests, according to an official report.
On Tuesday, December 17 at approximately 9:20 am, officers reportedly responded to the 4900 block of Brittany Court for a residential burglary in progress. Before officers could arrive on the scene, the suspect reportedly fled the area. A perimeter was set up and officers searched the area, eventually apprehending the suspect a short distance away from the victim’s residence. The suspect was reportedly found to be under the influence of narcotics and in possession of burglary tools.
Steven Unwin, 27, of Rocklin, was reportedly arrested and booked at the Placer County Jail.
On Wednesday, December 18, at approximately 3:20 am, Rocklin PD officers were reportedly conducting a traffic stop in the area of Sunset Boulevard and Placer Corporation Loop, where they encountered a driver of a vehicle who was found to have a felony warrant for his arrest. The driver was also reportedly found to be in possession of methamphetamine and narcotics paraphernalia.
Donald Vaninwagen, 40, of Antelope was reportedly arrested and booked at the Placer County Jail.
And on Saturday, December 21, at about 7:30 am, an officer contacted the occupants of a vehicle parked in a business area. Upon seeing the officer approach, the suspect in the driver’s seat reportedly attempted to hide a bindle of methamphetamine and a pipe in his boot. The bindle of meth reportedly fell to the floor and was in clear view of the officer.
Hans Anderson, 33, of Rocklin was reportedly arrested and charged with possession of controlled substance and possession of narcotic paraphernalia.
