San Leandro police officers caught an auto theft suspect after he fled a traffic collision on Monday around 3:30 p.m., according to a press release.
A SLPD patrol officer saw a white vehicle driving at a high rate of speed westbound on Estudillo Avenue. The driver lost control and collided with an unoccupied parked car near the Main Library.
