UC Berkeley police are asking the public’s help in locating a suspected purse thief captured on video in a campus building.
Police this week released a photo frame from the footage showing the suspect with the stolen purse under the suspect’s left arm. (The image is attached to this article.)
The theft of a UC Berkeley employee’s purse from her office in the Haas Pavilion happened on Jan. 6 between 3:27-3:40 p.m., police said in a crime alert.
