On Thursday, February 6, 2014, at 12:18pm, two Loomis residents called 911 to report a home invasion. According to Placer County Sheriff, a 28-year-old male victim and 27-year-old female victim had been held captive in their home for approximately five hours by the three suspects, one of whom used to work for the male victim.
During the home invasion, the two victims were reportedly bound and held at gunpoint at their Creekside Lane residence the morning of Thursday, February 6. The victims reported the suspects aimed an AK-47 at their heads during their captivity, and the suspects took personal property, weapons and the victims’ two cars.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, once the victims were able to free themselves they called the Sheriff’s Office. Deputies reportedly swarmed the area, including Interstate 80, to watch for cars. Eventually the victims’ two cars were spotted on westbound 80, just east of Douglas Boulevard. Freeway traffic was reportedly halted for several minutes while a male and female suspect were taken into custody. And reportedly with the help of Roseville Police Department, the third suspect was arrested at a carwash near Riverside and Cirby way. Weapons were reportedly found in the cars.
