Border Patrol agents at the San Clemente checkpoint intercepted two vehicles Wednesday with a variety of drugs and candy laced with THC, the mind-altering component of marijuana.
The first car came through at 1 a.m. Wednesday. The 18-year-old passenger of the 2012 Chrysler 200 sedan admitted having medical marijuana on him, according to a U.S. Border Patrol press release.
Searching the car, agents found three sealed boxes in the trunk of the vehicle containing lollipops, hard candy, and cookies laced with THC.
