This ‘Quarter Pounder’ Will get you Arrested

The Paso Robles Police arrested a man with a quarter pound of methamphetamine last week.

According to PRPD, the department’s Special Enforcement Team (SET) served a narcotics related search warrant in the 2000 block of Riverside Ave.

They were assisted by officers from the Atascadero Police Department.

It is unknown what the basis of the warrant was or what led police to suspect activity at this address.

According to police, the warrant allowed them to search the residence as well as the suspect’s vehicles.

During the search officers discovered a quarter pound of  methamphetamine, scales, evidence of narcotic sale, and cash were seized.

Police estimate the street value of the meth seized at approximately $6,700.

Police arrested Leonel Zavala Sanchez, 50, of Paso Robles for felony possession of methamphetamine for sales, felony transportation of a controlled substance and commission of a felony while out on bail.
