A San Diego man got about a block away from the liquor store he allegedly robbed on Monday before stumbling and falling to the ground – which led to his arrest.
Shawn Moore, 37, allegedly held up Mr. D’s liquor store on Market Street while wearing a mask and brandishing a knife. He fled and got as far as J Street before tripping and falling. He was then hit by a vehicle while on the ground. He got up and tried to continue running, but the robbery victims caught up and subdued him until police arrived.
He was booked into jail on robbery, burglary and narcotics charges.
