LOS ANGELES – Violence disturbed the quiet of the 5400 block of Brynhurst Avenue in Hyde Park on Monday night when 51 year-old Michael Jace shot and killed his 40-year-old wife.
Jace is known for his recurring role in the TV show “The Shield,” as well as other television and movie roles. The shooting occurred around 8:30 p.m., not long after April Jace returned home with her two boys. The children were in the home at the time of the shooting but were physically unharmed.
Although neighbors reported hearing the couple arguing before any shots fired, there is no history of domestic violence incidents involving Jace. He has reportedly confessed to the shooting.
He was being held on a bail of one million dollars for this unfortunate and irreversible incident.
