Another suspect is in custody after Paso Robles Police officers caught him allegedly breaking into a vehicle.
According to PRPD, they received a report around 11:07 p.m. from residents who live on the 1700 block of Wade Drive.
The residents reported seeing a male subject breaking into a parked vehicle.
When officers arrived on the scene, they located a subject who was leaving the area in his vehicle.
Officers conducted a traffic stop and questioned the driver, Robert Manuel Cordoza, 31, of Paso Robles.
Police discovered Cordoza was in possession of tools and other items from the victim’s vehicle.
Cordoza was arrested in connection with this theft from a vehicle and later transported to SLO County Jail where he was booked for felony possession of stolen property, misdemeanor petty theft and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
Cordoza’s bail was set at $20,000.
It is unknown if Cordoza is responsible for any other vehicle break-ins.
