FARMERSVILLE – Three suspects are in jail in connection to the death of a 35-year-old woman, who was fatally shot at her home on Sunday night.
Three of the four suspects in the case turned themselves in to the Farmersville Police Department on Wednesday. They have been identified as Manuel Valencia, 27 Jorge Valencia, 21, and Josue Miranda 23.
A fourth suspect, 32-year old Juan Valencia, is still wanted in connection to the murder. Police describe him as 5 feet, 7 inches tall, 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
The shooting of Angelica Haro happened around 8:30 p.m. in the 500 block of North Brundage Avenue in Farmersville. Four men showed up to the house and began to fight Haro’s brother outside. Haro heard the disturbance and ran outside, where one of the men shot her, according to police.
Haro was taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center in Visalia, where she was pronounced dead.
The men took off in a black Hummer, which was later found in Lindsay and seized by police as evidence. It was then that three of the suspects turned themselves in.
Police said that the suspects and the victim knew each other and shared family members through marriage.
Officers are still searching for Juan Valencia, the man believed to be the one who fired the shots.
All four men face charges of homicide, conspiracy and accessory to a crime.
