INGLEWOOD, CA—Perhaps it was a joke, or perhaps he was too drunk to understand what was being asked or what he was saying.
Jason Lee McLin, 40, was picked up on Friday, May 23 at approximately 11:15 p.m. by Inglewood Police Department officers at the corner of Freeman Avenue and Century Boulevard.
According to police reports, the hazel-eyed, gray-haired Caucasian man told police that his occupation was as a “boilermaker.”
A boilermaker can describe two things: a cocktail that is comprised of a beer and a shot of whiskey, and a craftsman trained in producing steel products from raw steel.
Police ultimately charged the Los Angeles resident whose residence is along the 46000 block of Chemkette Road with a “DUI alcohol/drugs.”
Police spokesperson would not clarify whether it truly was McLin’s occupation or his favorite drink or even if he may have been enjoying too much of one after a hard day doing the other.
