Fresno Police Still Looking for Two More Gang Members in Connection to Double-Murder Case
FRESNO – Police arrested three men they believe played a part in the murder of two men earlier this month in southeast Fresno, but two men are still on the loose.
The incident happened on July 5 inside a home at 3652 E. Mono Ave. in Fresno. The Fresno Police Department’s Street Violence Section identified the five men they believe are responsible for killing 39-year-old Aleman Ramirez and 31-year-old Jose Lopez inside the home. The suspects are all Bulldog gang members, according to authorities.
Police arrested Gabriel Ornelas, 23, and Alberto Perez, 27, on Monday at a business in the 4500 block of South Chestnut Avenue. Another suspect, 34-year-old Eduardo Serrano, was also arrested Monday, at 3603 E. Balch Ave.
Police are still looking for the last two suspects, identified as Matthew Porraz, 21, and Santino Moreno, 33, who are considered armed and dangerous. Porraz is also wanted for another murder that happened on May 2.
The Fresno County district attorney formally charged all five suspects with two counts of murder with gang enhancements and one count of robbery on Wednesday.
