FRESNO – Police are searching for three suspects believed to be involved in the assault on a woman that was videotaped and posted on social media.
The incident happened near Marks and Dakota Avenues in central Fresno. Several suspects humiliated the 20-year-old victim by robbing her, forcing her to strip and then beating her. The woman who ordered her to strip in the video is allegedly 21-year-old Destiny Rico.
A male can be heard barking in the video, which is known to be a Bulldog gang intimidation background.
When the victim tried to cover herself with her hands and walk away, the suspects followed her and bullied her. The video of the incident was posted on Facebook. The video reached at least as far as Texas, where callers called police dispatchers after viewing the assault.
Police were able to get the video taken off of Facebook after reaching out to the 14-year-old boy who posted it to his account. The boy was not arrested.
Police arrested a 15-year-old boy, allegedly a Bulldog gang member, in connection to the attack. The boy is “one of the subjects in the video who is barking,” Sgt. Paul Cervantes said.
Police are now looking for Rico, also known as “Baby Dreamer,” Lindsey Starkey and Jaime Camarillo.
Rico, also allegedly a Bulldog member, has been arrested in the past for auto theft, burglary and narcotics. Starkey has been arrested in the past for auto theft, carjacking, narcotics, robbery and resisting arrest. Camarillo has been arrested for battery, assault with a deadly weapon, narcotics and domestic violence. She is currently wanted on a felony warrant.
Anyone with information about the three wanted women is asked to call (559) 621-GANG.
