TEHACHAPI – After a three-month investigation, a 24-year-old Hesperia man and his alleged 35-year-old lover, were arrested on Tuesday in connection with the murder of a 38-year-old railroad worker in Tehachapi in August
Jonathan Hearn and Sabrina Limon were booked into the Kern County Jail for one count of first degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder. Limon also faces an additional charge of being an accessory to murder.
According to the Kern County Sheriff’s Office, detectives were able to identify Hearn as a possible suspect after discovering that he and Limon, who is the victim’s wife, had developed a relationship prior to her husband’s murder.
Detectives also developed probable cause that Limon conspired with Hearn in the murder of her husband Robert, on August 17.
Limon’s body was found inside a BNSF Railway shop area in the 1500 block of Goodrick Drive in Tehachapi.
Officials said that Limon, an employee of BNSF Railway, was shot to death after returning to the shop sometime after 5 pm after working in the field that day.
