The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department is reportedly seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a violent sexual assault that occurred this past Saturday, according to an official press release.
According to Sac Sheriff, on Saturday, December 20, just after 4 pm, a female in her late 60s was walking to her home near Watt Avenue and A Street in North Highlands when an unknown black male subject reportedly forced her into her home and sexually assaulted her.
The suspect is reportedly described as a black male adult between the ages of 19 to 23 years of age. He stands about 5’8″ tall and weights about 170 pounds. The suspect reportedly had a “clean cut” appearance with short black hair and no facial hair, and at the time of the assault was wearing a bright red zip-up coat and khaki shorts. The suspect reportedly left the residence on foot after the assault, and it was unknown if he had a vehicle parked nearby.
