Three Fresno Suspects Arrested in Connection to Two Robberies Friday Night
FRESNO – Three males – two teenagers and one 20-year-old – were arrested on charges that they robbed two residences in Fresno on Friday night.
The first robbery was reported to police at 5:50 p.m. near East McKinley Avenue and North 7th Street and the second was reported at 7:10 p.m. on the 2200 block of North First Street. The victim at the first home reported that one of the suspects used a handgun to threaten him. The victims at both homes provided very similar descriptions of the suspects, police said.
After taking the second report, an officer in the area of Clinton Avenue and First Street saw a group of males standing near a liquor store that matched the descriptions given by the robbery victims.
When the officers pulled up, the suspects tried to run away, but the officers detained them. They found a handgun nearby and determined that it had been used in the first robbery, police said.

Rayshawn Slaton, 20, of Fresno was arrested on alleged robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery. A 16-year-old male, who was not identified, was arrested on the same charges.
