San Luis Obispo Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Cambria man for possession and distribution of child pornography on Wednesday.
According to the sheriff’s office, detectives with the Sexual Assault Unit served a search warrant at a home located at 2555 Wilcombe Road in Cambria. The sheriff’s office received information that child pornography was being downloaded and distributed at that residence.
During the search of the premises, detectives found a computer with child pornography including more than 600 images of pubescent children engaged in sexual acts. Investigators do not believe any acts were performed at the property.
Investigators say the images were downloaded at that site and then were distributed. Also during the search, deputies discovered approximately six ounces of methamphetamine with evidence of narcotic sales.
Detectives arrested Christopher John Kehoe, 49, of Cambria for two counts of possession and distribution of child pornography and one count of possession of a controlled substance for sale. Kehoe was booked into SLO County Jail.
