A suspect arrested on suspicion of vehicle theft and two suspects arrested on suspicion of selling drugs were some of the latest arrests made in the Roseville area, according to an official weekly crime report issued by the Roseville Police Department.
On Tuesday, January 13, 2015, at 10:45 pm, officers reportedly checked on a group of people standing outside a home in the 100 block of Atkinson Street. Several people walked away, dropping bags of methamphetamine by the front door. Officers searched a car in front of the house, finding a loaded handgun and more meth.
Sabrina Elizabeth Puleo-Coats, 26, of Redding, and Robert F. Ryan, 50, of Yuba City and Sacramento were reportedly arrested on suspicion of selling drugs, and illegal weapon charges. Joseph Anthony Armas, 18 of Roseville, was also on the scene and arrested for soliciting another to commit a drug related crime.
Records show that Sabrina Puleo-Coats, who lists her occupation as customer service, had been arrested recently closer to home, by Redding police on August 23, 2014 for possession of drug paraphernalia, and on May 7 for petty theft.
Robert Ryan, a self professed mechanic, has a much more extensive record. Documents show over a dozen arrests going back to 2007, including vehicle theft, burglary, possession of stolen property, fraudulent checks, defrauding an innkeeper, and multiple drug and paraphernalia possession, sales, and being under the influence charges, along with several parole violations.
Another notable arrest happened on Wednesday, January 14, at about 2:30 am. Officers reportedly stopped to help a stalled motorist at Roseville Road and Cirby Way, and found out the disabled vehicle had just been stolen from the 200 block of Baldwin Avenue. The officers let the victim know about the theft and recovery of his vehicle, and arrested the suspect.
Laura Maryann Miller, 23, of Citrus Heights was reportedly arrested on suspicion of vehicle theft and possession of burglar’s tools, along with driving without a license. Miller has several arrests found on a records search dating back over the last three years. In January of 2012 she was charged with conspiracy, burglary, and possession of burglar’s tools. She was charged with burglary again in October 2012. In November she was arrested for loitering on private property, and in August of 2013 she was picked up for possession of a narcotic controlled substance and paraphernalia. She reported her occupation as caterer.
