SET Makes Drug Bust

The Paso Robles Police Department’s Special Enforcement Team (SET) detectives have taken another alleged drug user off the streets. According to a PRPD press release, SET detectives conducted a probation search at a residence on the 1200 block of Stoney Creek in Paso Robles.

The search was performed around 7 a.m. and was in direct response to calls regarding suspected drug activity in the area. According to the press release, detectives contacted several subjects at the residence while the probation search was being conducted.

SET Detectives located 3.3 grams of methamphetamine, three grams of marijuana, one-tenth of a gram of heroin and drug paraphernalia. Police arrested Jacob Andrew Pollak, 27, for misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of narcotics and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Pollak had been arrested in June for carrying a switchblade knife. He was also charged with possession of a controlled substance and driving on a suspended license in December 2013.

It is unknown who else was contacted by police detectives.
