A number of drug-related arrests have been made in the Roseville area over the past week, according to an official weekly crime report issued by the Roseville Police Department.
On Monday, January 19 at 5 pm, officers reportedly conducted a probation search on a house in the 200 block of Duranta Street, where they found heroin, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Roseville residents Abel Eugene Sanchez, 33; Edward Siemon, 35; and Tammy Marie Milat, 33, were reportedly arrested on drug charges.
Both Siemon and Millat have been in trouble before in the past year. While living in Citrus Heights, Siemon was arrested in September and November 2014 on charges of possession of a controlled substance. In January, while listed as a transient, he was charged with possession of controlled substances and paraphernalia, and possession for sale, along with loitering and trespassing on private property.
And according to a story in the Roseville Press Tribune, on December 19, 2013, Roseville police were called to a convenience store on reports of a domestic violence incident. They found Siemon there, and he was carrying methamphetamine, and had a stolen laptop computer in his car. That arrest led investigators to Milat‘s home, the same location as the latest incident, and as a result, she was arrested on charges for possession of controlled substances, a firearms with controlled substances, stolen property, and keeping a place to sell or use controlled substances. Milat, however, was not the victim of the domestic violence incident, according to police.
In another Roseville incident, at about 3:30 am on Tuesday, January 20, officers reportedly stopped a car with four people inside on Industrial Avenue near the Santucci Justice Center. One of the passengers reportedly looked like he was trying to hide something, and then got into a scuffle with officers before running away across the railroad tracks into the open space area.
Placer County Sheriff’s deputies and officers from both Rocklin PD and Citrus Heights PD responded to help look for the suspect. At around 5 am, the passenger was reportedly seen walking about 2 miles away, on Foothills Boulevard near the Hewlett Packard building. Demarcus Patrick, 19, of Sacramento was reportedly arrested on suspicion of resisting arrest, possessing narcotics, parole violation, and other related charges.
And on the morning of Tuesday, January 20, 2015, officers reportedly conducted a probation search on a car in the 500 block of Sunrise Avenue, finding a concealed handgun, drug paraphernalia and other illegal items. Damen Edward Rodriguez, 35, of Roseville was reportedly arrested on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a firearm, possession of narcotics and other related charges.
Records show Rodriguez several more times recently. He was charged with drug possession and carrying a concealed “dirk or dagger” in December. In November and July of last year he faced drug and paraphernalia possession charges. Just prior to that, in June, he was arrested for possessing stolen property, conspiracy, and drugs and paraphernalia. Earlier records show arrests for burglary and DUI while he lived in San Francisco and San Jose.
