The Paso Robles Police are searching for two suspects who broke into the Verizon Wireless store last Thursday.
According to PRPD, they received a report last Thursday around 7:15 a.m. regarding a burglary that occurred earlier at the store located on the 2300 block of Theatre Drive.
Investigators say two suspects forcibly entered the closed business by smashing out the glass front door with a rock. After gaining entry, the suspects stole assorted electronic devices valued in excess of $20,000. The details of the crime as it was captured on video surveillance.
Police say the crime occurred around 3:22 a.m. It is unknown if a burglar alarm was activated or not. Investigators describe the suspects as adult males, wearing bulky clothing and gloves with both their heads covered. A second commercial burglary was also reported that occurred the next day around 4:21 a.m.
Officers responded to a commercial burglar alarm sounding in the area of 10th and Riverside. The officers discovered the front glass door to the Rental Depot, located on the 1000 block of Riverside, was smashed in. This crime was also captured on the business surveillance video system. The video shows two suspects forcibly entering the business by smashing the glass door.
Once inside, the suspects stole two portable generators and other items valued at approximately $9,000. Police say the suspects appeared to both be white adult males. Both were wearing bulky clothing and had their heads and faces concealed.
