INGLEWOOD, CA—What are friends for, if not committing significant felonies and getting caught together and going to jail as a group?
Tierney Shellmyer, 19; Shianne Knight Thompson Rolls, 21; Raymond Lewis III, 21; and Calvin Smith Davis, Jr., 19, were arrested by Inglewood police officers on Wednesday, June 16 at approximately 9 p.m. All four were apprehended along the 3400 block of West Century Boulevard. The address is synonymous with an Inglewood-based Red Lobster, the same one that Inglewood District 1 council member George Dotson has more than once proclaimed is “California’s no. 1 revenue-intake” for the national seafood restaurant chain.
Shellmyer, a resident of Los Angeles, was charged with first degree robbery (211PC) and threatening a crime with terroristic intent (422PC). Davis, also an L.A. resident, was charged with the same two crimes. Rolls, a student from Paramount, was charged with first degree robbery and as an accessory to first degree robbery (32PC), as was Lewis, a Long Beach resident.
Bail for Shellmyer and Davis was set at $150,000 each. Bail for Rolls and Lewis was set only slightly lower at $120,000 each.
