TEMECULA- Following a long-term investigation by two police departments, a local man and woman were arrested for multiple burglaries and possessing stolen property.
Leads from an ongoing investigation involving numerous crimes culminated in detectives from the Temecula Police Department and the Lake Elsinore Police Department serving a warrant at about 3 p.m. on Tuesday, June 15.
Detectives from the two departments located and arrested Jessica Bock, 28 years old, and Kevin Hirsch, 38 years old, both of Temecula. The pair were suspected of multiple counts of burglary, mail theft and fraudulent use of credit cards.
The investigation, which had taken place over the last several months, resulted in the prior arrest of Bock in May of this year. At that time she was charged with burglary and Hirsch was being actively being sought in connection with the same case.
Bock was out of custody on bail when Tuesday’s arrest occurred. According to a press release from the Riverside Sheriff’s Department, at this time the suspects were found in possession of numerous items of stolen property and stolen mail from other jurisdictions. Bock and Hirsch were charged with multiple felonies and booked into the Southwest Detention Center. Their bail was set at $250,000.
Authorities are actively seeking victims involved in this case and detectives will be conducting follow-up investigation in an effort to locate them. Sergeant Dean Spivacke stated that the department anticipates that detectives will locate additional criminal cases attributed to these suspects.
