Travis Rusty Jace and Angie Janie George
MORENO VALLEY – Two children were reported kidnapped from their foster home on Wednesday, October 28 at 3:36 PM. Following an Amber Alert regarding the children abducted by their biological parents, authorities located the missing minors and arrested the non-custodial parents.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department reported that the victims, Corey Stanley, age 7, and Justin George, age 4, were walking with their foster parent on the 12900 block of Frederick Street in Moreno Valley. At that time a white, newer model Chrysler 200 approached and two adults exited the vehicle. One of the adults, a woman later identified as the biological mother, forced the children into the vehicle.
The foster parent reported that Justin resisted, but was still pulled into the car. The vehicle then sped northbound on Frederick Street toward the 60 Freeway in Moreno Valley.
The Sheriff’s Department reported that the driver of the vehicle was the children’s biological father, Travis Rusty Jace, a Romanian 25 years old who lives in Hemet, also known by Rusty Stanley. The children’s biological mother was identified as Angie Janie George of Banning. A third suspect, an adult male, was also involved.
Authorities reported the kidnapping, and investigators from the Moreno Valley Police Department continued their search for the children into the early morning hours of Thursday, October 28, which led them to Artesia in Los Angeles County. The children were found unharmed with their biological parents.
Upon their discovery, the children were released to members of the Riverside County Child Protective Services. Jace and George were booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center.
