William Francis Walsh
VISTA- A fire dispatcher with the Camp Pendleton Fire Department was arrested on charges of distributing child pornography.
Escondido police said Vista resident William Francis Walsh, 52, was arrested on allegations of “actively importing and distributing known files of child pornography online to others.” Walsh was arrested at his home without incident on November 4 by Escondido Police and members of the U.S. Marshalls Fugitive Task Force.
Police officials said the investigation began when computer equipment was seized from Walsh’s residence in July of this year. A forensic analysis determined that the devices seized from Walsh contained “an extensive collection and history of child pornography images and videos downloaded and distributed electronically from the residence.”
Walsh is being charged with sexual exploitation of a child and advertising child pornography for distribution.
