Police would like to speak to these three witnesses
VISTA – San Diego County sheriffs are asking the public for help in identifying three men who may have witnessed a homicide that took place in May outside of a convenience store.
The incident took place on May 6 outside of a 7-11 store located at 900 North Santa Fe Avenue in Vista. Police responded to a call and found 33-year-old Francisco Castro unconscious on the sidewalk with major head trauma that reportedly occurred when the back of his head hit the sidewalk following an altercation with unknown suspects.
Castro spent the next six months in a coma and was taken off life support and died on November 9.
The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department is trying to locate three Hispanic males (pictured) who were seen with the victim prior to the incident and may have witnessed the altercation that led to Castro’s death.
