An arrest was made on Saturday following an apparent robbery and domestic dispute in Coarsegold.
According to the official media report released by the Madera County Department of Corrections, 44-year-old Robert Fellhauer was brought in by the Madera Sheriff’s Office on charges of inflicting corporal injury on a spouse/cohabitant, willful cruelty to a child, threatening crime with the intent to terrorize, strong arm robbery, battery, and damaging telephone/power lines.
Coarsegold is a town located on Highway 41 in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, on the way to Yosemite National Park.
According to the MCDC files, Fellhauer is currently unemployed. The circumstances behind his criminal behavior are not specified, nor is his specific relationship to the cohabitant and the child.
He is currently held on $180,500 bond.
