HOLLISTER — Last Monday, police responded to the Rite Aid Pharmacy on Airline Highway after reports of an armed robbery. The suspect was described as a male wearing a full-faced black motorcycle helmet, black hooded sweatshirt, black gloves, grey sweatpants, and black shoes with white soles.
Police responded at 9:45 AM, after the suspect had already fled, and were told the suspect appeared to be armed with a shotgun. Fortunately, no one was injured.
The suspect is said to have walked into the store and immediately approached the pharmacy counter demanding pharmaceuticals. He then fled the scene after being given an undisclosed amount of them.
