MOUNTAIN RANCH — On November 9th at approximately 2:20 AM, Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 6000 block of Michel Road to investigate a trespassing incident.
Once on scene, the were greeted with the sound of a woman yelling for help and, shortly, found her bound with duct tape and suffering from serious injuries. She was treated at the scene and taken to hospital for further treatment. As of yet, her current condition is unknown.
Police believe that the woman and the suspect, later identified as 49-year-old Kevin Eugene Ross of Sacramento, got into a verbal altercation after she returned to the property she shares with him. He allegedly ran her over with an ATV, taped her up, and struck her multiple times.
Detectives also located a registered marijuana grow on the property and what appeared to be a BHO (Butane Honey Oil) processing setup.
Ross was arrested at the scene and is currently held on $140,000.
