Police display contents of Estrada’s car
BAKERSFIELD – A routine traffic stop yielded drugs and a stolen gun for police and an arrest for 27-year-old Ruben Michael Estrada.
The incident occurred on Wednesday night around 9:15. Officers conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Niles and Fairfax on a vehicle.
They determined that the driver, Estrada, was under the influence of marijuana and arrested him.
A sheriff’s K-9 was then brought in to assist with a search of the vehicle.
The search yielded 3 ounces of crystal meth as well as a stolen .380-caliber handgun.
