SHEEP RANCH — On December 1st, County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a home in the 12000 block of Armstrong Road after reports of a structure fire.
Deputies arrived on scene and found a single family home engulfed in flames. 44-year-old Christopher John Trotter was also discovered on scene and placed under arrest when it was determined that he’d been the one to start the fire.
He has been booked into Calaveras County Jail on $250,000 bail pending the outcome of an arson investigation.
