LOS ANGELES – On the second day of this new year, a 32-year-old homeless man went about smashing the windows of 29 cars in Koreatown.
William Michael Ramirez faces 18 felony counts. Among these is one count of assault and 17 counts of vandalism.
The weapon Ramirez used was a metal saw blade. 28 of the cars he damaged were parked, but one of the vehicles was being driven near Third and Catalina Streets as he attacked it.
The maximum sentence Ramirez faces is 27 years. His bail is $270,000.
