Humboldt County Man Charged with Possession, Distribution of Child Porn

Detectives with the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office have announced the arrest of 37-year-old Matthew Aaron Steele for possession and distribution of child pornography.
Following an investigation which began in June of last year, Steele was arrested on the morning of Monday, January 10th. The investigation involved obtaining and serving several search warrants, through which detectives were able to identify him as a suspect.
He is housed at the Humboldt County Correctional Facility on $200,000 bail.
