Photo of robbery suspect
LOS ANGELES — Take a look at the photo that the LAPD provided and see if you recognize this man; two employees at a local business surely do.
On Christmas Day, the suspect went into the business, located in the 5400 block of Hollywood Boulevard (in what is knows as “Thai Town”) and asked the employee there to change a five dollar bill.
When the employee opened the register to do so, the suspect attempted to grab the cash in the drawer. A struggle ensued and the suspect shoved the employee aside to complete his robbery.
Two days later the same individual entered the same business and again robbed it by shoving aside yet another employee.
The suspect is an Asian male in his mid-20’s with black hair and brown eyes, about 5’2″ tall and weighing 170-190 pounds. He was wearing multiple chain necklaces and a gray backpack. Police believe he lives in the area.
