MADERA — Last night, January 12th, at around 11:30 PM, police received a report of a vehicle stuck on the railroad tracks in the area of Gateway & Cleveland.
Responding officers located one Jason Borjas sitting in the driver’s seat and quickly suspected he’d been driving under the influence, which was confirmed when his blood-alcohol contact was found to be three times the legal limit. Police noted that it was lucky he’d been spotted before a train came along.
He was arrested for driving under the influence and booked into the Madera County Jail.
