EL DORADO COUNTY — On January 19th at around 8 AM, County Sheriff’s deputies arrived at Ponderosa High School after a student had been detained for bringing a loaded firearm onto campus.
The student was arrested and investigation began, during which deputies discovered a homicide victim at the juvenile’s home in Shingle Springs. The juvenile has been charged with the crime and is believed to have acted alone.
He will be booked into juvenile hall for murder. The investigation is ongoing.
