CLEARLAKE — On January 26th at around 4 AM, police arrived on the 14100 block of Konocti Street after a call alerting them to a sounding alarm.
While en route, they were advised that there’d been a fire at the residence. Once on scene, officers saw that all residents were safe and evacuated. Lake County fire personnel arrived shortly thereafter to conduct an investigation, as well as protect surrounding properties from spreading fire.
The investigation also directed their attention to 29-year-old Anthony Conley, one of the residents, had intentionally started the fire knowing full-well that other people were inside. He was arrested and booked into the Lake County Jail for attempted murder, arson of an inhabited structure, and vandalism.
