GERBER — On January 25th at around 8:55 PM, Tehama County Sheriff’s Deputies arrived at a residence on Ramsay Avenue after a report of an assault.
It was there that they made contact with 25-year-old Cody Hamilton just as he was leaving the home at which he’d allegedly assaulted someone. Preliminary investigation revealed that Hamilton had attacked an acquaintance with a fixed-blade knife that was found near the scene. Fortunately, nobody was injured — despite his efforts, Hamilton was kept from harming his target by a witness who intervened.
Hamilton was arrested at the scene and is housed at the Tehama County Jail.
