Yovani Raya
PORTERVILLE – Early on Friday morning, police responded to an assault call from a house on the 200 block of South Jaye Street.
Once there they saw a 30-year-old male on the sidewalk with multiple stab wounds. He was taken to te hospital for treatment.
Investigation revealed that Yovani Raya was the suspect in the assault.
Raya may have fled the area and at press time has yet to be apprehended. He is of course considered armed and dangerous.
The Porterville Police announce – “If you see Raya or know of his whereabouts, you are asked not to approach him, instead immediately call 9-1-1 or notify the Porterville Police Department at 559-782-7400.”
