VALINDA — On Monday evening, police were called to a San Gabriel Valley home in the 16300 block of Doublegrove Street in Valinda and, once there, discovered Socorro Munoz’s dead body.
Munoz’s husband, 32-year-old Ricky Ramos Jr., was charged with murder in relation to the death. The charge includes a special allegation that Ramos used a knife in the crime.
Prosecutors are seeking a bail of $2.02 million. If he is convicted, he faces a sentence of 23 years to life in prison.
