HOLLISTER — Police are looking for leads in connection to a drive-by shooting that occurred at a residence on the 1500 block of Farragot Drive. While no one was hurt, a few cars sustained damage from stray bullets.
Police were called to the home after a report of a shooting at around 10:30 PM. At the scene, officers found several spent bullet casings and damage to several vehicles. Several people were home at the time, including two children, but nobody was injured.
Witnesses told police that a grey sedan had been seen in the area several times leading up to the shooting. Finally, it returned again and shots rang out. The vehicle then fled the scene.
Hollister PD has contacted several potential witnesses and is currently looking for home surveillance video that may identify the suspect(s).
Initial investigation did not seem to indicate that the incident was gang-related, or any real motive for that matter.
Hollister PD is asking that anyone with information that may lead to the suspect(s)’ identity or their arrest call the department at (831) 636-4330.
