ORLAND — On March 17th at around 8 PM, Tehama County Sheriff’s Office arrived at a property on Newville Road after they’d received a tip that numerous stolen vehicles and property were discovered there, which was confirmed later by a CHP aircraft flyover.

The residence was secured and a search warrant obtained. Several motorcycles, cars, and pick-ups were found and recovered, along with numerous items laying about the property that had been reported stolen out of both Tehama and Glenn counties including chainsaws, climbing equipment, hand tools, laptops, and lawn care tools, among other things. Victims were called to collect their items throughout the night.

33-year-old Michael Anthony Rogers was identified as a suspect in numerous burglaries in the area recently and is believed to be living at the property on Newville Road. His whereabouts are currently unknown and anyone with information that may lead to his arrest is strongly encouraged to get in touch with Detective Chad Dada at cdada@tehamaso.org.

Those who believe they may have been a victim of any of the recent local burglaries are encouraged to contact Officer Manny Carrillo at Orland PD.
