RED BLUFF — During an investigation into a reported runaway, a Red Bluff police officer learned from the 15-year-old girl he was interviewing that she’d been in a sexual relationship with 19-year-old Bradley Carroll — a relationship which constitutes statutory rape under California law.
The officer also learned that Carroll had engaged in sexual activity with another underage girl of 16, and had even provided drugs to both girls during their encounters.
Carroll was arrested on March 20th and booked into Tehama County Jail, where he is housed on $850,000 bail.
In the official City of Red Bluff PD press release, his charges are listed as “sexual intercourse with a minor (felony), [giving] a minor a controlled substance (felony), oral copulation with a person under 18 (felony), assault to commit rape (felony), assault to commit oral copulation (felony), and willful cruelty to a child (felony).”
