LINCOLN — 45-year-old Amber Herrington of Lincoln has been identified as the primary suspect in two theft cases, one at Walmart and another at a nearby market several days earlier.
In both cases, Herrington stole purses while their owners shopped.
Lincoln PD posted surveillance photos (above) and the tips came pouring in.
It wasn’t long before Herrington learned she’d been identified and opted to turn herself in. She was subsequently interviewed and released with a promise to appear in court.
